Visual is a semi-pixel font designed by Jan Novák. It’s inspired by topography, particularly by maps of ZOOs. The general idea is based on the organic balancing of a pixel font. Simple construction rules were inspired by natural and geometric elements that occur in maps; the inside is round, the outside square. Unlike pixel fonts, there is dynamism and stroke modulation, which supports good legibility at small sizes.
