(1) WHAT IS TFA?
TFA is an online project to collect type foundries and build a link list of type foundries worldwide – independent or not, small or big, everyone.
In the last few years more and more foundries have appeared on the Internet. Single designers, small agencies or collectives started their own foundry. Some tried to collect these increasing number of foundries in books. But TFA thinks, that a link list is probably the most interesting and powerful tool and best way to stay up to date with the type design scene.
(2) I CAN’T FIND MY FOUNDRY ON TFA!
HOW CAN I ADD IT?
We are regularly looking for new foundries, but of course we need your help to make this link list grow. So feel free to contact TFA by e-mail if your foundry is not yet listed on the TFA website.
(3) HOW CAN MY FOUNDRY BE FEATURED ON TFA?
One great benefit of the TFA website is the ”featured type foundry“. The entire content of the TFA site is displayed in a font from this featured foundry. For detailed information and conditions just contact us by e-mail.
(4) HOW IS THE TOP +5 LIST COMPILED?
The top +5 list is a complete personal and individual collection. The foundries are chosen because of their interesting font style, their unique attitude towards font design or just to promote them and become better known. For detailed information and conditions to join the top +5 list just contact us by e-mail.
(5) WHO IS BEHIND TFA?
TFA is a project by Marcel Häusler, freelance graphic designer from Germany. Please visit: www.marcelhaeusler.de
